what should be done to help the Marine Iguana's??
People should try and help the Iguana's at hand. In Ecuador the government they have enforce laws to protect the marine iguana. Also artificial nesting has been set up on the much smaller islands, to protect them from predators.
What are the causes of these threats?
If the temperatures aren't high enough it can prevent Algae that they usually feed on to not grow as much and others types to grow instead. So they would die from starvation. Also, oil spills and other marine pollution provide a threat to the Marine Iguana living ways.
What threats are there to this organism?
What adaptations does this organism exhibit to survive in its particular environment?
What do they need to survive in the real world???
Some of the things that this Iguana needs for survival are the following, they live on black rocks because it gives them warmth to survive.
But on days that the sun rays are beaming at a higher temperature this can become a threat to these iguana's. Also, cold temperature are a big no for the most part in the survival needs. This is due to the fact that if is stays into the water for to long it can go into shock.
